Stow Mill is literally just a few yards outside of Mundesley, close-by Richardson’s Holiday Centre. Built as a flour mill around 1826, it has been beautifully restored by its present owner and is well worth a visit.
North Walsham is the nearest market town to Mundesley and less than 15 minutes’ drive away. Featuring its Market Cross built in 1549 and the beautiful St. Nicholas Church, N. Walsham also provides the facilities of a Sainsbury store, Boots Chemist and several banks along with a host of other shops.
Wroxham and Hoveton are two villages straddling the River Bure and generally known as the capital of The Broads. There is much to see and do here including shopping at Roys, probably the largest village shop in the world! Cruising on the broads and visiting Wroxham Barns (a must for the kids). Approx 12 miles from Mundesley.
Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse Museum of Norfolk Life brings to life Norfolk in the olden days. Take a tour round the old workhouse or visit the farm and gardens, there is something for everyone.

Mundesley beach is lovely for strolling along at any time of year, band is definitely wheelchair friendly. Promenade beaches always make it easier if you’ve got a pushchair too. It’s also dog friendly and many of Mundesley residents love taking long walks with their furry friends all year long. Parking is easily accessible at the top of the beach, being just across the road from the green, which gives beautiful views down to the beach.
